CTI received the Silver Winer in the Latin American version of the World Responsible Tourism Awards, which has been taking place for 15 years in London. The award is one of the most important references in responsible and sustainable tourism in the world and recognizes the best efforts to develop the sector.
Even during the pandemic, for three years in a row, CTI was certified with the Travelers Choice Seal, which is an award given by the Tripadvisor platform, which recognizes establishments that constantly receive excellent reviews for the excellence of their services.
Winner of the Innovation in research and technology category of the Tourism Excellence and Innovation Award – one of the most important in the sector in the world – granted by the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).
Second place in the Braztoa Sustainability Award 2015, awarded by the Brazilian Association of Tour Operators, which had a record number of 67 entries.
Itaipu Binacional's attractions are the first in the country to receive the ISO 9001:2008 international quality seal since 2012 and in 2017 it became ISO 9007:2015. The document was issued in 2012 by BSI and renewed in 2015 by RINA, official certifiers of the standard, and annually certifies through audits the good management and operation of the Itaipu Tourist Complex.
The attractions of the Itaipu Tourist Complex have received the certificate of excellence from TripAdvisor, one of the best-known travel websites in the world, since 2014.
