The Itaipu Illuminated Special tour begins at the Visitor Reception Center, where
Participants board buses equipped with audio guides in Portuguese.
The first stop is at Mirante Central, where the musical performance with Sofia Goulart and
Tiago Rossato, celebrating the music of the triple border.
Then, the dam's monumental lighting is synchronized with a moving soundtrack, enchanting everyone with its magnitude.
In the second part of the tour, visitors pass through the Penstocks to appreciate them up close.
This magnificent feat of engineering concludes with a delicious dinner at the Mirante do Lago Restaurant, where stories and anecdotes about the dam's construction are shared by the dam workers.
